Claiming a Prize

Won a prize? Congratulations! Your prize amount determines where it can be claimed:

• Prizes of up to $500 can be claimed at any SA Lotteries retail agency.
• Prizes valued between $500 and $5,000 may be claimed at any SA Lotteries retail agency (if the agent is able to do so), or at SA Lotteries Head Office.
• Prizes worth more than $5,000 are paid via cheque or EFT at SA Lotteries Head Office. Major prizes need to be accompanied by a Statutory Declaration.
• Division One and Two prizes and Keno Spot 8, 9 and 10 top prizes are subject to a two-week wait until your prize can be paid, but please write your name and address on the back of the ticket and bring it into SA Lotteries Head Office as soon as you can.

Claiming a prize from interstate?

If you live interstate or even overseas, you can claim a prize on an SA Lotteries ticket by writing your name and address on the reverse of the original ticket and forwarding it to:

Be sure to keep a copy of your ticket, and it might even be worth considering forwarding the ticket via secure mail.  Your prize cheque (less a small postage fee) will be forwarded within two weeks.
