Four South Australians share $2 million lottery loot
31 August 2012
A lucky woman from Adelaide’s northern suburbs and three players in a customer syndicate have shared the entire $2 million Division One prize pool from Wednesday night’s X Lotto draw, with each entry winning a $1 million dividend in the mid-week draw.
SA Lotteries was able to contact the lucky northern suburbs player yesterday with the news of her win. She purchased her Easiplay Club-registered entry at Parafield Gardens Lottery Kiosk and discovered her good fortune the night of the draw after checking the lottery results. The regular player is delighted with her win and will share her prize with her family.
The State’s other $1 million Division One prize will be shared amongst three members of a customer syndicate established at Firle Newsagency in Adelaide’s Eastern suburbs. Staff at the agency told SA Lotteries that they are happily celebrating the fact that three of their customers will share in a million-dollar prize.
“Whoo hoo! This is so exciting!” the agency staff shouted.
“We are so happy for our customers! Division One? We can’t believe it,” they said.
SA Lotteries’ profits from Monday and Wednesday X Lotto are distributed to State hospitals for the benefit of all South Australians.
